I'm a single mom after 16 years of being with her abusive/controlling father. I divorced him and moved 10 hours from home to start over on July 2nd, 2009 and it's been a very rough start. My daughter is 14 years old (15 on 12/13) and a freshman in high school, a rough transitional period in her life. I'd love to let her smile this year after several years of not celebrating Christmas due to her father quitting his job as a method of control. She's in desperate need of clothing.
