Our angel really helped my children have a great Christmas. I am
glad that you have made this program available to mothers like

I just wanted you to
know that the gifts for my children arrived. I cannot believe how
generous our angel was- she blessed us beyond what I had ever hoped!
My children received new blankets, hats, gloves, scarves, clothing,
socks, makeup, cd players, tons of toys & more! My children had a
beautiful Christmas, full of joy, and thankfulness- thanks to our

This year I had hoped
to be able to shop for a girl my daughter's age. Although Carolyn
and Nikki closely matched my daughter's age of 6, we decided to let
them pick out what they wanted, so we sent just 2 gifts that we
selected from Nikki's list and the other items we sent were gift
certificates to 2 stores that Carolyn said she shops at.
I think that next year we will try to do more shopping...as it
really makes my daughter more connected to the deeper meaning of
Christmas.
We love the program and wish we could adopt more families,
hopefully, next year we will increase from 2 families to 3 that we

It felt so good to be
able to give to someone else. As a previous recipient of the angel
program I know how it feel's to be overwhelmed at Christmas. We all
had so much fun buying and wrapping the present's for Katie! It also
felt so good to this year but the one giving instead of receiving! I
am so glad we did this and I hope we can do it again next year!

Sabrina came down to
my work today and picked up all the gifts. This is such a great
program. This program not only allowed me and my co-workers the
chance to help someone else i believe it allowed me to make a new
friend.
My only complaint would be with the people who adopt and don't
fulfill. (without a good reason) I understand things happen and as
long as you let someone know it's ok. I just don't think that the
people who adopt and don' fulfill and don't contact should not be
allowed to adopt next year. Someone else might have adopted those
kids but couldn't cause it was marked that they were already adopted
and then the kids miss out. Just my opinion. ~Samantha |

"Hi to the Angels
at Single Rose: Just a note to let you know I received the
gift for my kids. Not exactly what I expected. If my kids were
too old I wish you had told me. Yes they are in their early twenties
but they have very little because they go to school and have school
loans. I received a lovely little money card with ONE Dollar in it
and a scolding to my children that they were too old to receive
gifts and if they still needed money or" charity" as it was put to
go to Catholic Charities. Now in our area Catholic Charities does
not give out money and I wouldn't have even tried that path. The
last two years I received lovely gift certificates from a lovely
gentleman. Nothing huge but nice. I am sorry that I took up your
time this year. I have been promoting your site to other single
mothers not for the angel program but just the info since they were
going through a divorce. Now I guess I will have to rethink that
too. I know you have no control on what happens but I think that
without talking to me the "Angel" assumed a lot. Did they know my
circumstances? Have they cried themselves to sleep on how a car is
going to get fixed? Have they done without time and time again so
their kids could have a pair of shoes or some special needed school
supply or in my case Julie's medicine and treatments have put me on
collections from the hospital because of her Crohn's disease? Don't
do anything to the person, I forgive them hopefully they will never
be in my situation. I do not want retaliation since they have my
address and info. Hope you have a lovely Christmas. Mine is

"As I opened the box today all I
could keep saying was oh my gosh. I am so grateful to Kim for
adopting my children not only did she send two gifts per child she
also sent a gift card for Walmart as well. I almost cried and tears
are coming to my eyes writing this. She got my kids things that they
will remember for a very long time. She hit it on the nose for my
oldest son with the science stuff and my daughter got the pink
blanket for her bed so I can get her old blankie and give it to her
dolls. The baby is going to love the stacker and car as well. She
did a wonderful job getting them gifts and they will really cherish

received the gift for my son yesterday. I am so touched by the gift
and can not wait to implement it. See my son is 3 1/2 and basically
nonverbal well now with our PECS (Picture exchange communication
system) we now have away to implement a way of communicating other
