I would just like them
to thank you for this great program. It was such a help to get the
gifts that were sent to my kids from our angel. She will just never
know just how much it meant to us. And the best part about it was that
what she sent to my kids were things that both of them had asked for.
This program is what Christmas is all about, giving from the heart. I
can't wait for Christmas day for my kids to open up the great gifts.
Thank you so very much to all of the Angels that helped out single
moms like me. Even though some of you may not get thanked you really

Tammy, I wanted to thank you so much for
allowing my daughter and I to participate in the angels program again
this year. We have had a horrible year and I truly didn't know how I
was going to pull Christmas off. Our angel Ingrid delivered more than
I could have ever asked for. I don't know how to say how much I

I just really want to take this opportunity to
thank my anonymous Angel for adopting my family! Imagine my
surprise to open my email and find a Amazon Gift Certificate for my
boys! They were sooooo excited to see there name on it, and they
promised to be good next year! This Angel has truly been a blessing,
and I can not thank them enough! I cried, I called my mom and cried,
and am still crying! Hopes and Dreams do come true!
Hopefully, I'll be in a better position next year to turn around and
hope someone else. The Angels program is a true blessing!

I want to extend my warm and heartfelt thanks to
your program for giving my family a wonderful Christmas...your program
allowed my family to be adopted by Steve, Jill and Conner ...each of
my children received 2 gifts each from this dear and loving family,
they also sent a gift certificate for myself.
I just hope that next year I will be in a better situation where I can
in turn help a family that needs just as they have helped mine.

I want to say thank you for the family that
adopted us. I was getting a little worried and contacted single rose,
and just as I did that I got a package in the mail. I was sitting here
last night deciding if was going to make my truck note or go get
gifts for the kids, I decided to sleep on it and very happy I did.
My angel even wrapped everything and put the kids names on the gifts
and put on it from santa .. my 7 year is going crazy it is cute.. and
we explained that some time santa brings the gifts a few days before
and gives them to mom & dad's so that he can make sure he gets to all
the kids before Christmas morning.. he bought it.. and is thrilled....
and My daughter who doesn't really believe anymore jaw dropped and
cried .. I know not your name but thank you to our angel.

I have received the gifts from our very
wonderful angel, Jenna. This Angel program is a wonderful thing. My

My dearest angel...and SingleRose your
generosity, caring and providing have given me back faith, we have
been struggling this season with so much, (last week we found my
daughter does have a heart problem, and my son had a major asthma
attack and was very ill with it) and with upcoming surgeries for
my other child...well this has allowed us an even more special
holiday season, love and family are tops to the children and I and
most important but to know I can put some special presents under the
tree from a true angel...words cannot describe how I am
feeling...please pass on my heartfelt thanks...my wishes for our

Dear Tammy and Single Rose -- below is a copy of
the confirmation for my order of a gift certificate for Chiquila Clark
and her daughter Camilia. (I picked Amazon since Camilia is 16.) I'm a
single mom and when times were the worst for me, angels definitely
were there helping me out. People like the store manager at the
grocery store, who kept giving me things "to try and tell him how they
were" -- like a cake, a roast, cookies, etc., that he knew I couldn't
afford. Like a man who came up to us in the drugstore once and gave my
daughter a stuffed animal just before Easter because he said she
reminded him of his granddaughter. And there were more, both friends
and strangers. I don't know if those people realized how valuable
their help was to me, not only materially, but also spiritually. But
although I am still single and raising my kids with no help from their
father, I have my feet on the ground now, and I am grateful for my
angels, and wanted to return the favor in a way. Thank you for
this program, and for the site, which gives so many of us a little

I just wanted to let you know, that the
wonderful angel that adopted my family had not only fulfilled my
girl's gift list but she went above and beyond what I could have
imagined when signing up for this program. She sent them not only
things that will make my children smile on Christmas day, but she sent
such things you would have thought she knew them. However I would
really like to think her for all the clothes that she packed up from
her daughters and sent to us that they had outgrown. They had a blast
going through the two huge boxes of clothing, jackets, shoes, etc. To
them it was like going on a shopping spree. Thank you very
much Angel....you have made this Christmas a very special one.

I was not at all pleased that, after following
the suggestion on this site, I purchased an Amazon.com gift cert. for
my family, which couldn't be used because the recipient didn't have a
credit card. While Tammy at this site was helpful in writing emails to
Amazon, I truly feel that Single Rose.com should have offered to
reimburse me. I am hoping to get my money back from Amazon.com; will
believe it when I see it.
I ended up getting her a gift card from Walmart. We had a terrible
experience with Amazon.com and I felt bad that Pam had to get involved
in the resolution of the problem. Beth |

I LOVE your site!!! Without your site and Angels
my children would not have a Christmas. I do believe in Angels and I
have to tell you how much I appreciate your site and your Angels.
Being a Mom is a very hard job, but being a single mom is sometimes
harder. In November I came down with Bacterial Spinal Meningitis and
my children almost lost the only parent they have ever known. But with
lots of prayer and belief in Angels I am on my way to recovery. It
must have been scary knowing that your Mom was in a coma and not sure
if she would live or die. Luck had it I came out of my coma 5 days
later, I am not 100% yet but I am alive. And because of this we were
just going to celebrate our ability to be together, we still are
but now they can each get a gift that kids should get on Christmas.
Too many times it seems that my children have to deal with such grown
up issues, I am so glad that someone thought of my children enough so
they don't have to go without on Christmas. God Bless all of

Single Rose and the e-mail from my angel, Linda. I just couldn't
believe it...I sat at my desk at work and started to cry. I'll be

I adopted a family this year. I am a single
parent too, so I know how it is not being able to give your kids gifts
for Christmas. I sent my family a gift certificate for
amazon.com for $20. I couldn't afford to give anything more. I thought
she would be grateful for it, but she wasn't. I am very disappointed.
She sent me an email stating she thought she would be getting more
from me. That she can't buy anything for her son for $20. Well that is
not my problem. I could only give that amount. She should be grateful
for that much. |

Erica K was my angel. She is a godsend. My
daughter Catherine blesses her each night when she says here prayers.
Erika made our Christmas. I was unable to buy anything this holiday
for Catherine or my family. My prayers were answered when she came
into our lives.

Hi Tammy, I found the site years ago and don't
remember how. Probably Googling. In addition to my
murder mystery game site
(my bread winner:-) I also have a very large parenting site called
2coolbaby.com. I was always on
the lookout for helpful and or charitable sites for parents and
families. I have adopted a family every years since I found your
program. My first year I adopted a family with 3 children & my money
was much more tight then, so I put the adoption information on the
site and accepted donations. I was able to get enough to give them a
good Christmas.
Hey I was lucky to get it shipped for $45. The original quote at
UPS was almost $90. When I told the girl it was part of an Angel
program for a single mother I had adopted she wrote the box size as
smaller then it actually was so that we could reduce the shipping. The
Power Wheels is one of those large motorized ride on jeeps & they are
very heavy.
I think your program is wonderful. I have been a single mother with
nothing and it is nice to be able to help others that are going
through the same thing. I am sure it makes me happier then it does

Hello to Single Rose and my wonderful Angel. I
received the notice and a wonderful gift certificate yesterday
afternoon. I sat down & cried for what seemed like hours. The irony
behind it was I had just returned home from volunteering time at the
Toys for Tots warehouse with my oldest son & his Young Marine unit.
This wonderful Angel has touched the lives of my children and I so

I airmailed our gifts to the MacRae family but
they have not received them yet. They live in Canada so arrival
depends on how long it takes them to clear customs. I appreciate the
opportunity to participate in the Angel program. I use it as an
opportunity to teach my children how to give. They are each given a
child and they are responsible for choosing the gifts and wrapping
them. This is the 3rd year we've done it and they really get serious

Mary Lee has truly been an angel to my son and
myself Jonathan. He has a form of autism, he is 3 years old, and he is
musically gifted. Mary brought him an "adult" keyboard, which he
hasn't stopped playing. Also, Mary and I have exchanged e-mails and
gotten to know each other and not only do I think that she is a true
angel, she is also a wonderful mentor for me. I hope some day to be in

I want to thank my "Friend" that sponsored my
family. I was so surprised to get an email stating we had been
adopted. I have been through a really tuff situation and had actually
forgot all about Christmas. My daughter delivered her baby boy early.
He was born dead but was revived and is just perfect. My
daughter then ended up in ICU and I was told she would not live
through the night....I was devastated but after 4 days on a ventilator
she pulled through and is home 9 days after giving birth. What an
experience. She still is having some problems but is doing better. So
as you can see this was such a wonderful gift from my special friend.
So who ever you are and where ever you may be, "Thank You" from the
bottom of my heart and all my children thank you also, even my

I have received the gifts Mary and her family
sent to my son. She sent a whole box of "gently used" clothing, a
check for $25 and a Power Wheels Jeep. Eric is going to be SO
excited come Christmas morning when he sees that Jeep under the tree.
(All he asked Santa for was a "monster truck," so his wish has been

Cathie & I spoke many times. I just shipped out a Lil Jeep motorized
power wheels vehicle, a large box of 3T & 4T clothing & coats, plus a
$25 check to help pay for some clothing she had put on layaway. I do
not have an online receipt, but I am sure she will verify receipt as
soon as her shipments arrive. :-)
This is my 3rd year of being a Christmas Angel with your program & I
find it a very rewarding experience every time. You do great
things. I always give back. My first year in the program things
were tight, but getting much better now. Many years ago I was in
a position that I was so thankful to a Christmas Angel that bought a
new outfit & a toy for each of my children. I never forgot how much
that meant to us at a time when we really had nothing. Before the
Angel came into my life that Christmas I was so depressed because I
could not give my kids a Christmas. From experience I learned how sad
this time of year can be to families who have nothing. I always swore
that I would give back when I was able. It took many years to get
there but I get so much pleasure from helping a family in need.
