I remember when I was small and my mom had to use food stamps, just like it said in Stephanie's message. My heart hurted for her because she (my mom) looked so ashamed using them. I just had to personally write a thank you note to everyone involved with this site. Today, my family was adopted by a wonderful lady named Teri and her department at work. This is the best Christmas present I could have gotten knowing that my little ones will have something to look forward to on Christmas morning. It is my pleasure. This is my 4th year doing this and I love it. I always send Children's medicine, a full stocking, wrapping paper, tape, hot chocolate, three special presents from us , my son donates three books (so she can use the gift certificate specifically for gifts), and a gift certificate for the mom so that she can pick out something for her son. I love it. It is such a good thing that you do. You should feel proud of all that you help. I also send a copy of my book. Thank you Tammy for looking out for struggling single moms. We have all been there at one time and it feels good to give back to those in need once we have gotten back on our feet. You are the true angle.
